So I've been reading all of the BB cream posts lately...and after reading lots of reviews, I think I want to try the authentic BB creams first since they're pretty cheap to buy from Amazon. (I'd try the Garnier one, but it doesn't sound like it provides much coverage).
I read the article from the link posted the other day but it listed so many brands that I'm now confused as to which is the best one to buy. I have light skin (with beige undertones), combination skin and I do have some discoloration that I'd like to cover up.

Has anyone tried either of these? MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream SKIN79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream Triple Function ( Pink Label ).
Re: Which authentic BB cream to try?
By authentic, do you mean it was originally introduced in Asia? I'm using the Clinique BB, which was introduced in Asia before the US, but is obviously not an Asian company. I'm very happy with it.
I ruled out a lot of BB creams for having less than 30 spf, as 30+ is really what should be worn daily to prevent wrinkles. It contains antioxidants like wheat germ, barley, and vitamin E to help prevent signs of aging and has caffeine to help with any skin irritation. I'm fair, and the lightest shade actually works for me, which has been a problem with some other products. I also love the amount of coverage. It has light but buildable coverage. I apply it thicker over my cheeks than the rest of my face, as I have redness in my cheeks that I want to cover, but it doesn't feel caked on like many foundations when applied thicker.
I know that at least one person on the board tried the Missha M BB and loved it, so hopefully she'll chime in.
Yes, I was thinking of the ones introduced in Asia. They're so inexpensive on Amazon. As much as I'd like to buy the Clinique or Smashbox one, I'm hesistant to spend that much money on something that might not work for my skin.
I use both Missha and Skin79, but I think I like the coverage Missha gives a little more. I use the Skin79 Pearl cream, and it gives my skin an awesome glow, but not a full coverage.
I just read your great review of both BB creams on your blog, you look great with both products. The coverage that Missha gives you is really incredible, I think I want to try this BB cream first since I need to cover some discolorations on my face.
Sorry if you mentioned it before, but what shade # do you use in Missha? Also, if you don't mind me asking, are you of Asian heritage? I only ask because the Missha matches the rest of your skin so well and I usually have problems of matching regular American foundation to my skin tone. It almost always ends up being a different color than my neck even though it appears to match when I first put makeup on. Also, I think I may have a very similar skin tone color as you.
If you don't want to answer, no worries. Thanks for the great blog post on BB creams.

Aww thanks!
I wear Missha #23, and I am hispanic and white. If we're comparing to say, MAC Studio Fix, I am an NC 25. Olive and pretty fair.

You're too sweet. Thank you very much! You've made my day!
I haven't personally used either of these brands but can tell you that here in Singapore both the Missha and Skin79 are popular/quality brands for BB creams. Skin Food is another popular Korean brand that you might look at.
The difference I've found with the BB cream I use is that it just goes on so smoothly and almost melts into my skin. My face looks pretty flawless when I'm wearing it.
Chiming in late..but I have both the Missha Perfect Cover and the Skin79. The hot pink bottle is for oily skin and I have the gold bottle, bc my skin is more normal/dry. I am not Asain. My Mac Shade is NW 20-NW25.
I bought the Missha in shade 21. It is very fair. I'm actually tan right now bc we are in Florida, so I am thinking of ordering up a shade, but it really does melt into your skin, so it still works. I read online that shade 23 is much darker than the 21 and many people said it was too dark for them which is why I chose the 21...but since I'm tan now, I prob should have chose the 23. If you are closer to nc/nw20, I'd definitely get the 21.
I am not sure which I like better. I really like both. Some days I think I like the MIssha better and others I think I like the Skin79. They both melt right into your skin.
FWIW, I got both off of Amazon for $27 total. I ordered the full size Skin79 and a smaller Missha one. The seller I used was SeoulGlamour because I read her stuff is real. The smaller bottle of the MIssha is still plenty big because you need so little to provide coverage.
Also, I recently read there is a seller on ebay named RubyRuby76 who has real stuff and may be a little less money, although I haven't ordered from her yet.
Hope that helps!
