Sephora VIB. What's everyone getting?

I need another foundation, DiorNude, but I think that's it.

No.  That can't be it.  Hell must have frozen over if I can't think of at least 4 other items I "need".  Smile

What are you getting?

Me with my littlest.

Re: Sephora VIB. What's everyone getting?

  • I think I'm going to get some tinted moisturizer and maybe an Amazing Grace rollerball. I want the tinted moisturizer for when I'm off with the baby and don't feel like doing a full face of makeup to leave the house.

Which brand of tinted moisturizer do you use?  I'm curious if this will work on my oily face.

I wish I had a rec, but I've never used any! People have recommended Stila to me, so I'll probably try that. My skin isn't particularly oily, though.

I used to use stila, but found it started wearing before end of day.  And this was before I was off BCP and an oily mess.

hmm all I'm seeing online from Tarte is Smooth Operator. I do like that they have more shades to choose from. I have fair undertones, and a lot of times things are too yellow. I'll have to see what they have in the store here, since I'll want to test them out. We only have a JCP store, unfortunately.

I'm going to check it out in store.  Thanks for th recs!

  • I'm thinking a spring purple nail color, a good base coat, and maybe a new perfume...maybe new facial lotion. This is a dangerous time of year. Haha.
  • Restocking Definicils mascara, Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer, and loose powder though not sure what kind I want yet - any recs?  I usually buy Clinique but not sure if there's something better I'm missing out on.

I'm looking at facial serums but I'm not sure what I need...some magic potion that helps me not to look like a sleep-deprived, haggard mom of a 3yr old.

  • I haven't got my email yet :(
    Photobucket
  • I didn't get an email, but I got a card in the mail.

eta: wait.. I just realized that mine is for "beauty insiders" and not VIB. It's still 15%, so I don't know if there's a difference.

For loose powder, I love Laura mercier's translucent setting powder. Not sure if you were looking for a setting powder or something with color, but it is amazing! I'm on my second one, the first lasted probably 9 months of daily use.

That's actually one of the ones I was considering!  I would use it for setting.  Thanks!

You're welcome! You won't be disappointed:)

  • FYI, I pick up some stuff.  The free umbrella is HUGE.  In my free sample pack, I got: mini deluxe tube of Boscia BB cream (which unfortunately has no hope of matching my skin color), mini deluxe tube of sephora primer, givenchy mister light sample packet, BB thickening shampoo and conditioner packets, sephora full action mini deluxe mascara, viva la juicy parfum sample atomizer.

Unfortunately they did not have my moisturizer.  But I got a sample and I get to go back!

Yes, the Smooth Operator is the one I use.  The Agent 02 is a little too fair for me and the Agent 04 is just a smidge too dark so I mix them together.  It sounds like Agent 02 might work for you!
