Name everything you need for card making
Hey there! I need a new hobby SO bad and I would like to get into card making. I have a ton of card stock paper, and a cricut... an other essentials I need to start making cards? What are your suggestions, I would like to make ONE trip to the craft store lol .... Anything else about card making you can suggest?
Re: Name everything you need for card making
I have the pink atg gun and really like that for card making. Glue dots also come in handy for buttons etc.
This is more of a luxury but i really like the cuttlebug or some sort of dry embosser. It takes plain paper from blah to wow in just a few seconds. The folders are really inexpensive and you get great results.

Good luck going just once to the craft store

I like to use solid light colored cardstocks for the bases of my cards. 8.5x11 sheets cut in half are the perfect size for cards.
Off the top of my head here is a list of things I would recommend: lots of different colors of cardstocks, ATG gun or mono adhesive runners, acid-free craft glue, pop dots, ribbons, paper piercer, Tim Holtz Tonic scissors, brads, stamps (I like ones that say sentiments).
My biggest recommendation would be the Cricut machine. I LOVE mine. It's not a cheap investment at all, but totally worth it IMO. There are so many different things you can do with it.

Stampin Up also has starter kits, and also card kits. That way, you could test out the hobby without getting fully committed.
