So how often do you reapply?

your makeup during the day?  Do you even have to reapply?  By the end of the day I feel like my face is washed out.  If you don't have to reapply during the day, do you use a primer?  And what brand?

Re: So how often do you reapply?

  • I don't reapply and don't wear a primer, and my makeup looks the same all day. I guess I am lucky?

  • I don't use a primer and don't reapply, but I wear a pretty natural look anyway. If I'm going out at night, I do sometimes add a little more blush and mascara and re-powder my nose.

I'd so say!  I don't use a primer, use MUFE HD or Hello Flawless and if I'm going out at night after putting on makeup at 6:30am, I have to reapply, or put on a powder at the minimum

  • I've just started using Tarte Amazonian Clay blush and bronzer.  Their product really does last the full 12 hours.  I never have to reapply or use primer.  Ulta has this set for $15 which is getting hard to find in stores, but still online.  My look is pretty natural since I don't do much with my eyes or lips.

Hmmm...I may have to look into this set.  By the end of the day I can't even tell that I had blush on and it's the Nars Orgasm.

  • I use Revlon photo finish foundation and don't have to reapply or touch up. I do have to touch up under my eyes though. It doesn't seem to matter what waterproof item I buy-I still always get some black smudge from the makeup under my eyes.

This one has the pink shade Dollface.  There's a purple makeup bag set at Ulta that's not online with a full size mascara, a small blush in a peach called Peace (looks a little more like Orgasm without shimmer), a trial primer, small bronzer, and something else.  That one goes for $39, but has over a $100 value.  Their products are really great with my sensitive skin.

  • I don't have to reapply, but I do use oil blotting sheets, or some more powder to my T-Zone. I use milk of magnesia as a primer, and it's worked wonders for me. I apply a little with a foundation brush after I moisturize.
  • I don't reapply because I don't usually have time at work, but I do use a primer. I do keep some concealer in my locker at work and will pat some under my eyes or on a blemish if I have a couple of minutes to spare.

if I've been running errands during the day and my H and I are going out after he gets home from work, I'll reapply then.

  • I reapply lipstick/gloss a couple of times over the course of a day, and maybe powder once.  I don't use primer.
