So. I only worked this past Sunday this week. Which turned out great since I got sick. No biggie. Next week I was scheduled 3 days, which is normal. I look yesterday and I only work on Friday. Well shiit. I switched departments to get more hours, not be cut from the schedule. And don't they know that the law says you HAVE to work part timers 16 hours a week? Oh and that after 6 hours, I have a federally mandated 30 minute lunch break (contrary to their policy of 7.5 hours worked). :: eye roll ::
Now I'm being told that there is a 930pm MANDATORY meeting. No one told me about it Sunday. If I knew about it Sunday when I worked, then maybe I wouldn't have gotten sick? who knows. Lol.
I just told my boss that I was giving her an informal two weeks via text and if I show up tonight she will get a formal letter of resignation or tomorrow.

I probably wouldn't go to the meeting, especially if they don't pay you for it.
They have to, its just its 930 at night. I do not see well at night plus I'm sick, so why should I?
And I won't be able to have a job this summer-- two classes and an internship I'll be busy from 10am until 545.
