Good News Thursday!
After starting 2 WTF's this past week, I'm bringing the happy out! Who has some good news?
--Last night was the last night of volleyball and our team (which was always in 4th place out of 4) moved up to 3rd place!
--My FWB is in TX for work and he's bringing me back TX beef jerky (natural yumminess) for when I see him Friday!
--My therapist convinced me to talk to my bosses about my work situation. It won't change things (and I'm leaving this job by the summer) but it will make me feel better about things!

I am officially our kickball team's new pitcher. I'm actually really good at it and it's especially awesome because all of the other pitchers on the other teams are guys.
I went out with two of the guys from the team after our game last night and had SO much fun. One's married, the other lives with his gf, so no hookup potential, but it was still a blast hanging out with them.
My realtor called the seller's broker yesterday to see if she could move things along. Apparently there were 4 other contracts on my house prior to mine that all fell through because of the wait. She thanked us over again for my patience and I'm fortunate for having a place to live without being in a bind while waiting. They're hoping for the extension to close any day and really hoping to have my closed by the end of April.
The last couple of days J and I have had some pretty in depth conversations. From what I've gathered, he thinks I'm out of his league and therefore a catch. If when he gets here in June, the chemistry is as hot as it is over internet/phone then he's all for taking this long distance for the last stint in his military career before getting out. I feel like a kid again with this giddy feeling and big smile on my face.
ETA: I forgot one, I just had my mid-year review. I was waiting for my manager to tell me I need to work on my tardiness or write me up for it but instead went on to say how much I've done for this company and how great my work is, that it is really appreciated.
My XH has agreed to take DS for an extra day so I can go on the yearly camping trip in June. I missed last year because I was 7 months pregnant. I am really excited about this.
I have a lunch date with a new dude today, and my boobs look hot in this dress
Also, since I started working out 3 weeks ago I have lost 8 lbs!
Had an email exchange (friendly) yesterday with ex-BF that left me feeling really good and confident that this breakup is for the best, and that I actually dodged a bullet. I've been in a great mood ever since, which is different, since prior to that any contact I had with him left me feeling like crap.
Tonight after work I am meeting former FWB "B" for drinks. He's fairly recently out of a relationship too, so as long as I'm feeling it, I think we'll be "comforting" each other afterwards.
Since the breakup I've dropped 15 lbs, a lot of it due to the recent half marathon training. Can't say that doesn't feel GREAT!
Also, just booked a trip to LA to visit my friend who lives out there, I leave 2 weeks from tomorrow. I had taken that Friday off to go to a wedding in NY with ex-bf so figured I might as well use the time off for something good, since that Monday is a holiday here!
-Had a 4th date last night and it went well! We had the opportunity to talk a lot more last night which was good. I can't wait to see him next week!
-I have my last 1/2 marathon for the season (until fall) this Sunday! I am hoping to PR (break my personal record)
-1.5 weeks until my birthday and I leave on my cruise! Woohoo!
I went to my second job yesterday, thinking I was going to get fired for attendance even though I had a doctor's excuse from my concussion.
I get called into the HR office and they tell me that although I missed double the amount in my first 30 days that results in termination, the company "has a heart" and understands that my situation is quite difficult. So I have the option to call the Employee Assistance Program...and it's highly suggested (hint,hint or I'm going to be let go). So good to know.
I really need the money from that second job so I'm happy that being the poster child for domestic violence is what kept it for me...
Oh I'm so glad I could laugh about this now, because I'm so uncomfortable on the inside...
- I recently paid off my lawyer and made bigger payments on my CC debt.
- My grandfather left me a little sum of money and with it I will be able to get a new(used) car! The car I have now is a Mazda Protege 5 is my first car, ever. Getting the chance to upgrade will be fantastic!
- I am excited to start my ceramics classes again this spring
-DS kissed me on the lips this morning.
-It was nice waking up to a clean kitchen (simple I know)
- I went to a co-worker's son birthday party a couple weeks back. My whole team was there and we all have small children. We took a group photo and every single one of us with our kids looks fabulous and happy in the picture. This made my heart all warm and fuzzy.

Thanks and yes. I will be in a magazine that comes out on May 1st. It is for a little local magazine, every year they do a bathing suit issue and this year they asked me to do it. The Photog doesn't like dealing with professional models, he prefers local girls that aren't familiar with modeling. The photog told me they have a distribution list of over 30,000. If people aren't local and they still want the mag, they can subscribe to it and have it sent to their home.
I just really wish I could have made myself relax! You can totally tell in the photos I was stiff/awkward. LOL!

I ponied up 2 bones with four other guys in my office for the Megamillions drawing tomorrow night and we are def going to hit it. It is only up to half a billion $$$...no biggie.

JM, I'm really sorry that you spent your hard earned money on the tickets but you see, I'm going to win. I'll gladly return the money that you spent on the tickets just for your trouble.
I work for a company that won a state government contract. They came on Monday for an "inspection" which included sitting behind me, looking over my shoulder and listening to my calls with providers. He told me (and my boss) that he was VERY impressed with my clinical skills. Woot!

I finally made an appointment to start the annulment process with my priest. I've been dragging my feet (not sure why) but it felt good to get it done. This is something I'm completely doing just for me... and that feels amazing!
Going to get some great one on one cuddle time tonight with my almost 2 year old goddaughter. That makes all the worries go away!
I know..but still funny.
