FHA appraisal today
Happened at 10:30 this morning. I feel like I am going to probably have a heart attack waiting for the results. We probably won't know until early next week, says the bank. So, super duper, I will just wait.*nervous laughter* noooo problem waiting.
Anyone do anything fun, home-related, today?

We had our inspection this week. We did ask the seller to fix one item, but it is not going to be a dealbreaker if they refuse or want to split (about a $400-500 repair). Overall, the inspector said it was a very well built and maintained house, which was so great to hear.
We still have the radon inspection and appraisal to go, but I'm glad to be through another hurdle. It was also nice to get in the house again and measure some things and make a note of things we didn't on the last visit. It's so nice to look at the house with a view to us owning it.
Hope your appraisal goes well. I got my mortgage committment letter from the bank today, yay! Hopefully we can select a closing date now.
Awesome! Is the home an older home or a newer home? Ours was built in 1948. So I am super worried it won't pass FHA, it's in good shape but I'm still so nervous.
