Any advice? I'm kinda scared after reading the DUAC reviews on MUA. My derm appt was made during a time my breakouts were horrendous. I have finally turned a corner and my skin is fairly calm right now. She says this is the perfect time to start using these products. I'm nervous!

    What do the reviews say about DUAC? I love it! I used it a lot more when I was younger, now I do for bad breakouts. It will stain your pill case though...just a warning. I have a silk pillow case that it doesn't stain, but it will on cottton

    My only complaint with Duac (because I did like it) was its shelf life.  The Pharmacist and my doctor said it lasts about six months (I think!  That's what I remember.  It was something around 3-6 months).  I never finished the (somewhat expensive) bottle before it was considered no longer effective.  If you have an old bottle, it won't harm you; it just won't work as well.  That annoyed me.

    Hi Carrots! The reviews on MUA all say how it makes things worse either a) before it gets better or b) just worse period! Then there are other interweb reviews linking BP to cancer and how back it is for your skin....etc etc
