if you lift 3 times a week

If you lift 3 times a week can you please post a schedule of the workouts you do at the gym? Do you usually repeat the same routine week after week or modify it?

Where do you get your workouts from? blogs, videos? can you please post them?

Thanks!

  • Check out New Rules of Lifting For Women. Very helpful.

  • I follow the New Rules of Lifting For Women. I feel lost without a structured plan in the gym so I love this program. I'm only is stage 2 but the progress I've make with it so far is amazing! I highly recommend it.

  • I do a 5 x5 workout with A and B days.  One week I'll be doing A-B-A, the next will be B-A-B.

  • Forgot to add: the A workout is : five sets x five reps of squats, bench press, and pull ups.  The B is five sets x five reps of dead lifts, bent over rows, and military presses.

  • Another promoter of NROLFW. I lift 3 times a week on that program and am on stage 2. It is awesome!

  • My workout is extremely varied.  Some days I go to kickboxing, some days I go to the weight classes (body sculpt), some days I run...  On the days I do work out at the gym I tend to just focus on specific body parts.  If I feel I didn't get a good chest work out or enough triceps from the other classes I just focus on those and do 3-4 exercises just for that muscle group and with 5 sets of 15 reps.

  • Another vote for NROLFW! I'm 1 workout away from being done. I feel lost if I go to the gym without a plan in hand of exactly what I'm going to do that workout. The program is laid out for me, so I don't have to worry about designing a balanced program on my own.

I'm debating what I want to do next. I think I'll start repeating NROLFW while I decide, but I've also heard good things about the workouts in the original New Rules of Lifting, New Rules of Lifting for Abs, Maximum Strength, and Power Training.
