Face: Clinique BB, Revlon Skinlights illuminator on cheeks, Cover Girl clean pressed powder
Eyes: I used the Stila In the Garden Palette. The colors are chinois (sort of a cream), rosette (deep purple), and honey (shimmery gold/yellow).
Lips: Stila lip glaze in unknown color since the words all rubbed off the tube. It's a sparkly bronze color.
EDITED: I forgot to list Benefit High Brow, which is under my brows.
Product review:
I bought emu oil after reading all kinds of raves about it. It was a dumb purchase. I used it last night for the first time as a moisturizer and it was no big deal. I also found an article on the-dermatologist.com saying that emu oil is all hype and no better than smearing olive oil on your face. Definitely a waste of money.
Re: Friday FOTD, recent purchases, product reviews
Oh, your face looks great today! You should wear that color more too! I always say turquoise is a universally flattering color
Recent purchases: UD De slick powder...I exchanged it for more Philosophy Love Sweet Love, once I discovered it is limited edition.
The De slick just didn't work..at all. And I didn't like the finish...or the way it applied with the applicator or a MU brush.
I don't go shopping a lot, but I need shoes very badly, and I have DSW coupons. I may try to snag some cheap sundresses too.
Really love your look today.
I forgot my camera today, (whoomp whoomp) but Dawgs I've love your look the pasty 2 days. No shopping for me, probably will be going next week because we got a nice bonus this monthy at work!

GoDawgs, I love the more minimalist look on you!
Me: Garnier bb cream, Pixi Water Blush (which is AWESOME, by the way), plain old Maybelline brown eyeliner, Grow Luscious mascara, and this cheap, awesome lip gloss I got at Rite Aid, NYC Lip Plumper in Plum Tart. It's perfectly minty.
Updated September 2012.
Your hair looks so great! How do you get it to look like that? Do you have thick hair? My hair is very fine and I'll try to grow it out, but it always looks so limp and flat. Then I cut it off into a bob.
My goal for makeup is to look like I'm not wearing any, and for it to be cheap
I used to wear nicer makeup but it's just not worth it to me.
I'm wearing Physician's Formula Organic Wear TM and mascara, the wonderful amazing age rewind under eyes, ELF blush (it's a dupe for BB's Peony) and an ELF highlighter and lip gloss. This is my 5 min. work face.
Aliciarose, you look gorgeous!
Eyes: MAC Orb as my highlight, Cargo's Chile and NYX Rust mixed into eachother.
Cheeks: Plum Du Bois by MAC (limited edition)
Lips: No idea. The label came off of the gloss
But, it's MAC ha ha.
You look amazing. Can you tell me which ELF blush it is?
Holy crap Alicia, you're gorgeous, you have the skin of a child for goodness sakes! lol.
gosh thanks ladies
It's ELF pink passion: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=132552/Studio_Blush_in_%22Pink_Passion%22/E.L.F./Blush
I love it because it's simple and no glitter!
It's their studio blush, so it's a whopping $3 instead of $1.
Dawgs - Turquoise is an awesome color on you!
Alicia - I would KILL for your complexion! Beautiful!
Here's me in my car this morning.:
I like how I did my eyes today, so here is a closer shot of them. I played with a subtle little shimmery cat eye with my new tarte amazonian clay and I like the pop it gives them. I also went with a dark purple eyeliner that I love.:
Face: Bare Minerals full starter kit (primer, foundation (in Fair), warmth, mineral veil).
Lips: Maybelline Lip Color in Mauve
Cheeks: Same new highlighter from Neutrogena as yesterday, but today I added a spot of warm blush over it (some color by CG, it's ooooold), and I think that helps a lot.
Eyes: Tarte 24 Hour Clay Eyeshadow in Seashell Pink as a thick eyeliner/cat-eye; Estee Lauder Shimmer Powder in Nude Summer as shadow; Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Empire. Tarte Lash Primer and Mascara.
Very pretty! I love the way you did your eyes, I need to try that!
Alicia - I agree with the others! You have amazing skin.
Smash - LOVE the colors you used on your eyes! Very pretty.
Thanks for the compliments on the makeup and shirt color. I never even thought of turquoise being a good color on me. It's a color I like a lot, though, so I'll have to buy more of it!
Thanks! I ordered it from Target. If you buy 3 you get 10% off and free shipping so my total came to $8.77 for 3 of the e.l.f blushes.
What is the shade/name of the ELF blush you use? I love it!
