What's everyone up to this weekend?
I need to do a 10 miler tomorrow and then I'm having dinner with a bunch of girlfriends from high school. The downside to that is that I have to drive about an hour to the location so that means no wine for me with dinner. Whine.
On Sunday I either need to clean the house or clean up the yard. Weather will probably play a big part in which one gets done.
Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight we might be going to the restaurant our friend is a chef at. Unfortunately they are closing so this is our last chance to try it out. Whoopsy.
The rest of the weekend - no plans. I need to do laundry and go to the gym, but that can be done either day so I'm playing it by ear.
I'm leaving work in a little over an hour to go have an EKG and X-ray for my gallbladder surgery on Tuesday. I'll probably go grocery shopping on my way home.
I'm working for a few hours tomorrow morning, coming home to watch hockey and then my H is taking me to an Irish pub for dinner.
Sunday, we plan on finishing getting all of our crap ready for goodwill. We've been cleaning out our kitchen cabinets and closets all week and we have a ton of stuff we just don't use. Plus I have about 8 bags of clothes I never plan to wear again.
Today our new bedroom furniture is getting delivered. I'm leaving work early to go to the gym. I'm hoping my in-laws will take the kids so we can go out tonight to celebrate Mike's birthday (early, it's the 7th) since it's now overshadowed by a certain little boy's birthday that falls 2 days later. :-)
Tomorrow is major house cleaning, putting our bedroom back together, and watching the games. DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY LET KENTUCKY WIN or else my entire in-law family may go up in flames.
Sunday nothing notable. Usual getting ready for the week chores. I may make calzones and bacon cheddar scones.
Zane's gone all weekend for a work thing, so I'm single parenting. I'm thinking the highlight will probably be a run to target tomorrow morning just to get him out of the house. It's supposed to rain all weekend.
Somewhere in there, I'm grading 18 websites and cleaning the house for my MIL to stay with us next week.
Who wants to trade weekends with me? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
MIL was supposed to come down, but asked if she could come next weekend instead. I had already assumed she was coming next weekend since it is Easter weekend, but I guess she wasn't.
Anyways, Saturday we are going to see our friend sing. She is part of a women's choir and they are doing a special free matinee show for kids.
Sunday we might go to my brother's to help him set up some stuff in his new place. I also need to clean and do laundry. Fun, fun.

I'm working the PT job tonight, 11-8 tomorrow and 12-6 on Sunday. WHEEEE.
Somewhere in there, I need to go to they gym twice, grocery shop and cook lunches for the next couple of weeks. Saturday night is vodka and steak night with the BF.
I have no actual plans, so it'll probably be a lot of TV watching and hiding upstairs while Mr. Spiderman works on the basement. I have to make chocolate chip cookies tonight as a thank you to the electrician who is coming over tomorrow to help out.
If the weather behaves, I might do a wee bit of gardening, but that's doubtful.

Will you share the scone ressypee, por favor?
our neighborhood is having an easter egg hunt at 10:30 tomorrow morning at someone's house and i will try to take alison. otherwise...grocery shopping, farting around. same old same old.
envy my life!
A new grocery store just opened down the street from us (the only one in our town) so we're having a family outing there tonight to check it out and get something for dinner. Life in the suburbs is awesome.
Tomorrow it's just errands, chores, and basketball.
Sunday we have a birthday party for one of Ian's daycare friends. It's smack in the middle of naptime so hopefully the fact that it's at a gymnastics place takes the edge off.
I was scrolling too fast and misread this as "farting on some olds."
We have no plans. I need to find an activity to get James out of the house.
Gunning through my anthro paper, the anthro final, and playing catch up for all the discussions I didn't do for anthro/cmst/history, 1st aid class on Saturday (ooh! vital signs! I hate AHA.), maybe a little shopping afterwards, if I'm feeling ambitious: future coursework, knitting and/or making a new bracelet for my ID tag if the blessed thing ever comes.Maybe workout?
There's a position at Institution that's basically what I'd want to be doing in 5 years if I stay on the paperwork side of medicine. Too bad I don't have a master's degree and the person to whom the position direct reports and I are currently not on speaking terms. (TBQH I don't even have a BSc until next May, ugh.) So I may be moping over that some too.
I live a wild and crazy life.
Tonight I'm finalizing my lesson plans and I'm going to attempt to accomplish something work related. Not sure what though.
Tomorrow is my step-sis and her partner's wedding which should be lots of fun. It'd be more fun if I could drink but whatever. I'm stressing out though because it is going to eat up my whole weekend and I only have 4 more days of work before I go on leave.
I am trying to get some work done tonight. Then tomorrow I'll get my nails done and get picked up to go to the wedding. I'll stay at the hotel and come back Sunday but I'll be at my mom's mercy. Plus she wants me to find out what time mass is Sunday night at the church by me and I'm sure she'll expect me to go and want to know why I haven't gotten around to finding out about baptizing the baby yet.
If I have any time left on Sunday, I'll be trying to get stuff ready for the sub or making sure all my grading is up to date. When I'm not running around yelling "OMG I have so much stuff to do!" and not actually accomplishing anything.
