I have an idea that will let there still be 50 states. Listen, por favor. What do you think?

Out: Florida
I am pretty sure Florida has the same amount of Spanish speakers than there exists in all of Puerto Rico, so there would be no extra espanol growth. Also, we'd give you beautiful weather without old people and we also know how to vote correctly. Finally, better boy bands came out of Puerto Rico than came out of Orlando. Gracias.
