how did you get the actual mortgage commitment letter?

I just emailed the loan officer at our bank because (per our p&s) our commitment letter is due on or before 4/1, which is Sunday so I think we would either need to get it today or tomorrow. Is it something they would email to me, does it have to be sent certified mail, or when I know it's ready can I just walk in to the bank and pick it up?

I know my realtor called the bank last Monday and they told her the letter would be on time, but I still haven't heard anything about it.

Ours was faxed to our realtor I believe. One bank actually sent me a copy of the letter via e-mail (we ended up not going with them).

They called DH and told him the loan was approved and that the letter would be mailed to us. We got it in the mail a day or two later and we had to sign it and mail it back. We faxed a signed copy to our agent and she sent it on to our sellers.

The bank emailed it to the broker. The broker emailed it to the realtor and cc'd us.

This. We got all paperwork (except closing papers) via email.

I THINK it was faxed to our REA who then faxed/emailed it to the other agent.
