two unrelated questions

First, we recently bought a cast iron frying pan. I'm not sure what we should use when we wipe it out after each use. We've used paper towels so far (we've only used it a few times so far) but I really don't want to be using paper towels every single time we use the pan. Any suggestions?

Second question, I need to buy a new toilet brush and I'm wondering if there is a brand/type that anyone recommends more than others. The last one that I had got almost a rusty look to it (maybe it's our water, but it's still kind of odd) and I tried cleaning it with some baking soda and vinegar, and it didn't work at all.

Re: two unrelated questions

  • I wash mine with just hot, sometimes running, water and a dishcloth (and I'll admit to breaking out the scotchbrite pad on it) no soap.

My toilet brush that is white got a rust look, but my brush that is black didn't. So I vote get one you can't see the nasty on.
