Back to square 1 with what to wear to shower. Help plz :)

Ok, so I've been asking your opinions about what to wear to this wedding shower I'm going to tomorrow.... of course the weather got crappy just in time and it's going to be 50 and partly cloudy, which messes up what I was going to wear (coral dress w/ nude pumps).

So even though hardly anyone's on late Friday night, I'm posting...hoping that someone can give me their opinion because DH is no help and I'm so indecisive ;)

My ILs and most of the family are pretty fashion-focused. But, there will most likely be people there dressed anywhere from really nice to maybe even jeans (can think of 1 cousin who would probably wear jeans..)

Again, shower is at noon at a nice Italian restaurant.

And please excuse my hair and lack of makeup. I just go out of the shower.

Choice 1: original dress + boots. I have nicer riding boots that I'd wear with it but didn't want to run downstairs to grab just for the picture.

Choice 2: with tights and black pumps, or with heeled knee high boots???

Choice 3: what I wore today ;)

  • I still love dress one, but out of the three, I probably like option 3 the best.

Thanks :) DH couldn't decide when I showed him "in person" but when he saw the pics all together in this post, he just told me he liked 1 best, then saw 3 and said that one!

Then DD1 ran over and said she liked 3 best with my "hair curly like that too" LOL.

Maybe I'll do the sweater dress tomorrow and save the first dress for Easter (and hope the weather is nice!). Do you think it looks ok with riding boots?

  • I love dress #1 but I think #3 will work the best. Damn weather!

  • I like 3, but I also like 2 if you added a bright turquoise necklace or earrings.

  • #2 would look better w/o black...a white button down, grey tshirt, leopard print something....

But of those options I pick #3. I have a feeling you'll be the most comfortable and warm in that option

  • #3! I love dress #1, but not with boots.  #3 is super cute.

That's exactly what I was planning on doing, if I wore that :)

Joanis, I originally had a light off-white, almost greyish blouse to wear with it, but I didn't think that would look right w/ black tights...unless I can get away w/ no tights.

  • Thanks for the input girls! I think it'll be #3...maybe I'll trade the flat riding boots for black pumps so it's a little more dressed up :)

  • I love the dress. Where did you get it from?
