Lululemon Scuba Hoodie fit?
I am a size 6 in Stride jacket and a size 8 in Define jacket. What size would you recommend for the Scuba hoodie at LLL?
Re: Lululemon Scuba Hoodie fit?
Thanks for answering! I didn't realize that the Scuba hoodies come in different materials?
I'm assuming the one I'm looking at is not a Special Edition one.
I am on the fence about buying this particular print. It's in the "made too much" section, but I'm not crazy about the print... I think it reminds me of camouflage, which isn't my style. However, the reviews I've read is that it looks nicer in person. I just don't know if I should pull the trigger!
Also- should I just get a size 6? That is what I normally wear in my Stride jackets.
Also (sorry for another Q)- reviews mention it is quite long. I'm 5'2" and even my Stride Jacket hits kind of low for me. Maybe 1-2" below my hips?
That one you could probably do a 6 in, but I'd get something you can try first for sizing. The sleeves and torso are going to be longer, but if you want to layer you may want the extra room since it is fitted. I'm 5'4" and mine cover most of my back pockets when I have on jeans and when I have the sleeves rolled down it covers my wedding rings. They have not shrunk at all. I've seen that one in person and it's one you'll either love or hate. I'd do one you really like that you can return to try them. I thought that one photographed poorly and looked like watercolors, but my style could be polar opposite of yours since I currently have hot pink highlights on light blonde hair. I'm in a very creative field and outrageous style is embraced, but if you are more conservative it may not be for you.
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I'm not crazy in love with the print so I may just hold back. I am more conservative in my clothes, and I was eyeing the pink one on the site.
Thanks for your honest feedback
Hmm interesting. Other people have said the same thing (looks better in person than on website.)
What size do you wear? Just trying to see if I should get a 6 (Stride) or 8 (Define).
I got the 6 and it fit perfectly
Good to know, thanks!
eta: Would you be able to wear this out casually with jeans, or is the print too busy?
I wear the same size in my stride and my scuba. I would say because of the thicker/stiffer material in the scuba, it is a little more snug than the stride but not by much (I tend to like these a little less form-fitting and a little looser so that I can wear things under so the difference isnt a big deal to me).
Im 5'7" and I got a 6 and the sleeves are just right - maybe slightly shorter than they could be when I use the thumb holes but I have long arms and legs. At 5'2" the sleeves may be long on you. Can you go to a store and try one on before buying a final sale item? If not, it might be worth just paying a few bucks more for a pattern you like and that you could return if needed.
you definitely could, I wore it out last night, but only with a solid tee or tank underneath.
I think it would look cute with jeans and a tank underneath!
