Happy Friday!
What's everyone up to this weekend?
Tonight: Hibachi and sushi with friends. I seriously can. not. wait!
Saturday: going to the gym, and a memorial for DH's grandmother. I'm really stressed about this because the majority of his part of the family says they aren't going because of a whole bunch of bullsh!t. Pretty much, their Aunt lives in Michican, and has barely been around their whole life (my husband can't even keep the names of his cousins straight), and she's been taking charge of everything because my MIL is just letting her. So, of course, his family is taking it super personally, and they're not going. Even though their grandmother said that she wanted a spring memorial when she passed. They're also against it because apparently, MIL is saying that in the later days, GMIL says she wanted nothing at all. I think they all just need to chill out and just remember what a wonderful woman their grandmother was. She passed away in January. Ahh there's so much more to this story, I can't even think about it for the health of this baby.
Saturday night: seeing some friends from college who just got engaged about a month ago.
Sunday: hopefully relaxing and staying home all day. I would love to cook a whole bunch of meals so that I don't have to cook later in the week. Ohh and I also have to go to the gym.
Re: Weekend plans?
I'm sorry about the stress with your H's family - I hope everything calms down soon.
Will the ahole uncle be there? Or wait..is/was he in jail?
Today: I'm going to try and leave work early, then H and I talked about going to Old Navy (I need casual clothes BADLY). Tonight we're going to a party for one of H's friends that is getting sworn in as CPD.
Tomorrow: Recovering from tonight, then going into work for the last Saturday for a while!
Sunday: Attempting to run 10 miles, then going to the Hawks game with my BFF! We have a furlough day Monday, so I plan on whooping it up!!

EDD October 10, 2013
ooh Melko, I'm so sorry about all the drama - I hope that it all gets settled.
Nora - good luck on your 10 miler! It's been such a long time since I've ran that far. I'm jealous
Today: I had a presentation for a national ASLA student award and am now waiting on pins and needles to hear if I won. There was a 50% chance of me getting either an honor or merit award. My sister is in town so we're in the living room - I'm working on my thesis presentation and she's job hunting. I'm also making a bajillion phone calls about closing on this house. Too confusing!!
Tomorrow: COLOR RUN!! H, my sis, and I are driving to ATL early to run the color run. When we get back there is a food cart festival downtown that a bunch of my friends organized, so I'll be going to that, and then that night, if I won this award, I have to go to honors night at the country club and be recognized. I hate doing stuff like that and rubbing elbows, but the award may be worth it.
Sunday: Sis is going home early so she can go to derby practice that night, so H and I will clean the house, do the usual weekend chores, and then I want to go see the Hunger Games that night. Eep!
Tonight: Going to a local pizza joint with friends for dinner
Tomorrow: SPRING CLEANING EXTRAVAGANZA 2012!!! Nothing in our apartment is safe from getting cleaned or thrown out.
Sunday: Possibly a geocache hike in the morning with DH and friends, then relaxing the rest of the day.
my blog
Tonight: Going to dinner - then seeing Hunger Games with H and my brother
Tomorrow: Homework, having a girly day for myself (getting my hair done and nails and toes)
Sunday: Taking H to Wrestling...it's an early bday present and he's super stoked so it's work it!
For the first time in months I have the whole weekend OFF!!!! H has to work all weekend, so hellllooo me time!
Last night I got home from work and power cleaned with my pre-period energy until I just wore myself out.
Today I did some laundry, picked up a new pair of contacts, and lit myself a nice candle and have just been enjoying being around. I ordered in some sushi for my dinner.
Tomorrow I'm gonna re-light that candle (it's called French Garden from work, I love it) and I'm going to catch up on a ton of reading - or at least that's the plan! Screw the rest of the laundry, that can wait until Monday or Tuesday :-P
I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's going to be a super awesome weekend!
