i rented "dirty dancing" "saturday night fever" and "just wright", so i'll be watching those today. I also plan on making spaghetti and just straightening up my apartment. exciting stuff!
I'm hung over....and feel like death! Had a pretty awesome time at Hairball last night and apparently drank way too much. I think I'm going to take a nap!

While I realize my approach yesterday wasn't the greatest, she completely struck a nerve with me. I am very protective of my DD and adamant about not introducing her to people I date. And my DD's dad is one of those idiots who introduces our DD to anyone and everyone he dates, and I can't do a damn thing to stop him. So it's a sore point with me. Again...sorry for my approach which was less than graceful.
What's Hairball? If it has anything to do with 80's hair band music, that would be awesome. If it has something to do with cats, I wouldn't be nearly as excited.
We all have shiit that we deal with but we need to remember that the OP isn't our ex or anyone else that may have caused the original situation/emotions. I have a *very* hard time dealing with people who cheat but I really check myself when responding to those posts because I know that it is MY shiit with my XH that makes me feel that way and not the OP fault. I don't know them and I only know whatever snippets of info that they share on TN. And yeah, it is hard. I get it. I do give you kudos for owning up to the fact that your approach was not the best. That is also hard.

Hairball is a band that sings (and dresses) like 80s hair bands! They did everything from KISS to Prince to Guns and Roses! It was super fun and a lot of the crowd busted out 80s gear to dress the part!!
I have been productive today! I went out to brunch with BF's sister and parents as it is his sister's bday today. Then I went to Barnes and Noble and picked up another gift for her plus a few books for me (yahoo!), got my oil changed, my tire fixed and went to the grocery store. Time to whip up some artichoke dip then off to BF's parents house for birthday dinner with sister again.
I do have to gush for a minute and say that I think it is really sweet that his family invited me out to breakfast and to the birthday party despite the fact that he is currently OOT. Plus his mom called me "the complete package" today at breakfast lol.

Went to kickboxing this morning and now I'm sore.

I ran and went to the gym this morning then brought my nephew his Easter basket since I won't see him next weekend. He loved it, especially the can of slime that makes fart noises (dollar store score). Hung out there with my sister and her husband for a while and came home.
A group of friends had told me earlier in the week that a "GNO" was being planned, got a text that this would begin with dinner at the Olive Garden at 7:30. Don't know if Sophia is coming or if it's just Blanche, Rose and Dorothy.
Hope my AARP card gets me a discount...

Today I had a hair appointment. Thank goodness...I needed it and my MILF status has returned! Lol. Then ran a few errands and did laundry.
Tomorrow will be gym in the morning, grocery shopping, and possibly dinner at a friends house.
Man my life is a total snooze fest right now. I need some action. In more than one way!
