Driving home last night, I switched over to the Oldies station on the radio. Sometimes I like a little 60s hippie stoner music.
Imagine my surprise when Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer came on, followed a few songs later by Def Leppard, with some Madonna in between.
I'm not THAT old, am I? Since when did Bon Jovi and Def Leppard become oldies music?
Oh, FFS.
Re: Apparently I'm old.
yea, 80's music is not oldies.
I made a comment to my H that when Nirvana starts playing on the oldies station, we are officially old.
Two weeks later, guess what I heard on the oldies station?
You heard Nirvana on the oldies station? Seriously?
I'd better get on the phone with the Scooter Store. Sounds like I'll need one soon. At no cost to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!1!111!!
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
LOL...well, I guess to a kid, anything that was around prior to when they were born is an oldie!
Abso-freaking-lutely!
Agreed! And BBE, please do that!!
Last night I was out with friends at a bar and boys were trying to chat me up. I kept asking them when they graduated college. All between 2008 and 2011. *smh* That combined with the kids I work with referring to 90s hip hop as "old school" is not helping.
