How do you determine your target weight?
I have been losing weight for about 15 months now (my starting weight was 98 kg or 216 pounds). My original target was 75 kg (165 pounds) ,but the top of my healthy weight range based on height is 72kg (158 pounds). I am currently at 78 kg and starting to re-think my original goal. How do you determine what your target weight is? I originally chose 75kg becuase i had been fit and able to maintain that weight for many years.
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.
Re: How do you determine your target weight?
To be honest, I just thought back to a time when I remember feeling like I looked my best, and picked that number. (and of course it is reasonable for my height).
I think that it's normal to re-evaluate and create a new weight loss goal once you are near or hit your original target. You've worked hard and had success, why not continue! Good luck!
