I get Brazilian waxes by a women who specializes in them, it is 90% of her business. I will admit she is GREAT a real professional.
We were talking as I was leaving about her vacation this fall (as it effects her standing appt. gals like myself) as she will be touring France and Rome for about 4 weeks.
It got me thinking:
$60 + tip for a Braz. wax that takes 45 mins.
Most of her clients have standing appt. (I was on a waiting list until I could get in and I had to take an 11:00am Thurs. time slot or stay on the waiting list).
She works out of part of Victorian home she owns.
She no longer has to work weekends as she is so busy M-F and no evenings.
NO WONDER she can vacation abroad once a year for a month!!!!
Not bad for this economy.
Re: Waxing, more than you think
Totally agree!
Definitely this. You'd have to pay me a heck of a lot more than $60 to do this.
Good for her! A good esthetician is worth her weight in gold.
When I moved out of state, I had to shop for a new one. I actually had to weed through some that wouldn't do Brazilians.
