I made this ruffle tunic for a friend's daughter this weekend. More details in my blog, but to sum it up, BAD construction techniques in patterns drive me crazy. I should have carefully read through the pattern before I jumped in so I would have caught it, but I didn't and it just irritates me. Oh well...

The end result is very cute! I appreciate the review, too- if there's one thing that annoys the heck out of me (ha- there's more likely 1 billion
, it's downright amateur crappy instructions and methods in a purchased pattern.
It's hilarious to go back to older blog tutorials- I made a few itty bitty little envelope tees for our stubborn little due-last-week 2nd cousin, and did one with a decorative serge on the neckline, so I went back to the 90 min tee tutorial form Dana/MADE. And holy hell is that thing a mess- no offense to her, I'm sure she knows it could use a revamp and WHO wants to undertake that- but, LOL!

Super cute! I like the ruffled pocket especially.
Too bad about the pattern - you'd think they would have known to hide everything, especially if there's a bit of a bodice lining.
And I get you on not reading through all the directions. I know they say to do that, but that's generally too slow and boring for me...
