Thinking about buying a Clarasonic Mia, opinions please:)
So I've been lusting after the Mia for a while now, and have decided to pull the trigger. First off, would you pay the extra $30 for the Mia 2, or just still with the original? And also, do you think the clarasonic is worth the money? I have combination skin, oily in my T zone and dry on my cheeks. I get occasional breakouts, but I'm on bc so its rare. My blackheads are awful though, and no amount of extracting gets rid of them. This is why I think a clarasonic would be good for me, but I don't want to end up disappointed. I figure if I'm going to get one, no better time than now when I have a 15% off coupon.
Re: Thinking about buying a Clarasonic Mia, opinions please:)
My in laws always want me to basically tell them what I want for my birthday, with one "big" gift around $150ish. I always have a hard time thinking of something, but this year I told them I want the Mia. They shop waayyy ahead of time, so I probably told them four months ago, and I'm really anxious to actually have it now, lol.
I'm an obsessive researcher about skincare products, and all of the rave reviews about the Mia are pretty compelling. I read reviews on several different websites, and the negative reviews were really in the very tiny minority. Most people rave about it. My skin sounds very similar to yours - combination skin, very rare breakout, but blackheads (although these have finally cleared up from a new product I use). A lot of people say that they just have a more even complexion and generally nicer looking skin from the Clarisonic even when they didn't have major problems before like break outs. Many people say they feel their skin gets cleaner from it than other methods. Since it's not THAT expensive, even if it just helps me do a better job at removing makeup and helps with the dry flakes I occasionally get on my cheeks, it will be worth the money I think.
If I remember correctly, the only difference between the Mia and Mia 2 is that the Mia 2 will beep when you are to move it to a different part of the skin. I didn't care about this feature at all, so I asked them for the regular Mia.
I have the original Mia and it's fine, I dont think I would have spent the extra money on the new version.
I have dry skin and it's done wonders for me.
