Any restaurant recs for Lisbon?
I am going there over Easter and I would like to know if you can suggest some great restaurants in the city.
TIA

This place had the best piri piri chicken:

In particular, there was a vegetarian place we really liked in that neighborhood once we'd burnt out on all-meat-all-the-time meals. I am pretty sure it's this place (I just googled it):

I looooooove Lisboa. Have fun!
Oh yes, Cantinho Do Bem Estar. It was super tiny and we had to wait outside to get a table. Totally worth it, though.
We walked by there during the day (when the restaurant was closed) and there was no sign. You'd never know there was a restaurant there. During the evening when it was open there was a sign out front, and a queue.
It was awesome. It's the only meal I remember from our trip to Lisbon a few NYE's back.
Wine Bar do Castello, right next to the Castle, had the most heavenly meat and cheese platters.
We also loved Restaurant Olivier http://www.restaurante-olivier.com/restaurante.html
We had one of the best meals of our whole trip to Portugal and Spain at O Barrigas in Lisbon. We just happened upon it while looking for food in Barrio Alto. We both ordered off of the specials menu; I had dogfish in a tomato sauce and MH had cod. I looked at the reviews on tripadvisor after our trip and they were not glowing at all, but we really liked we had.

Just stay away from any places that have the menu is 8 different languages. Also have you read about the couvert in Lisbon? Waiters will bring you a small plate of bread or olives or sometimes a dip when you sit down. If you don't touch it, they won't charge you for it, but if you have even one olive, you'll get charged for it.
I agree with this recommendation whole heartedly!
We had dinner at Cafe Buenos Aires, it was fantastic and very reasonably priced.
