Recs for spring eye shadow palettes and other F&B stuff

My birthday is coming up, which means I can do some damage at Sephora (or wherever) all at once without DH being annoyed.

I need suggestions on what to get!  I'm happy with my skincare, haircare, foundation/BB, fragrance, highlighter and lips.  So, basically I'm wanting eye shadows, maybe some fun eye liners, and maybe a couple blushes.

I'm definitely getting Posietint because I think it's so pretty.

I have several light color and natural color eye shadow palettes, including Too Faced Naked, Stila In the Garden, and Dior Garden Pastels #441.

Dark or super dramatic eye makeup is NMS, but I'd like to try some "fun" palettes with more vivid color, like maybe with colors like aqua, lilac, and/or pinks for daytime looks.  I don't necessarily mind matte, but I really like some shimmer.

As far as my coloring, I'm fair skinned with pink undertones, hazel eyes, brown hair (but will be going blond soon).

I also have been searching for the perfect hair styling tool to make pretty, wavy hair (Iike beach waves or a bit tighter).  I hate curling irons.  I bought one of those curling wands and it was a disaster.  I also tried a three barrel deep waver, which I like, but is kind of hard for my shoulder length hair.  Then I tried velcro rollers, which give lots of volume, but not curl.  So if you know if any tools or products to give shoulder length, fine hair pretty waves, please let me know!

Please give me some ideas for what to buy!

  • I don't know if it is still available, but I like the Smashbox In Bloom palette.

I am also a fan of the ready eyeshadows from Bare Minerals...it is amazingly pigmented and has anti aging properties.

Blush...go with Tarte Amazon clay if you haven't yet.

  • I was at Sephora this weekend and they have their new color of the year which is orange! Some pretty stuff in this color. I got a new Sephora pallet with 4 different colors, one being an orangey/bronze color. LOVE. And great price to boot~
