Movie story-BNOTB related :P
Jay took me to see "Hunger Games" tonight and there were two people who brought their babies. This is becoming a very common thing lately and sure enough...the babies were fussy.
When a death scene came on, a baby got really upset. I'm trying to just tune it out when I hear a guy say "you should leave your babies at home...you're bad parents".
I almost died from laughing. I was shaking from trying to quietly laugh.
I really think it should be a rule that unless it's a children's movie, no babies should be admitted...especially to a show that started around 7 PM.

2012 Reading Challenge
Especially to an evening show! I mean, I know it can be hard to find a babysitter, but really? Now, I don't mind babies/kids at the movies, but come on...make it an appropriate movie at an appropriate time, you know?
I love that the guy said that. What was their response?
When we went, someone across the theater had a baby but by some miracle I only heard it make a noise during the previews. The movie didn't get out until 11pm - why the *** would you have your baby and little kid out that late? Especially on a school night?
This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the movie now, but it was pretty gory and the kids sitting behind us were crying because they were scared.
I often judge people's poor parenting.
Well that is just the worst.
I was hesitant to take my little brother to see the Muppets movie a couple months ago, and he is 5 years old, not even a baby! Thankfully he's well-behaved (most of the time) and didn't cause any problems but even for a children's movie I was weary about taking him. lol
I really don't go to the movies enough to know if it's common here, but honestly I'd be really upset if a baby was making noise and interrupting and would have cheered on the guy who piped up!
I would have done the same, except louder.
KEEP. YO. KIDS. AT. HOME!!!
That's bad parenting skills!
(geesh, it was bad enough that I had to watch it with a swarm of teenagers.)
There was a 3 year old in front of us at the Hunger Games this weekend. She obviously wasn't watching the movie and was getting upset by the loud noises (canon shots, screams, etc...). But the parents stayed for the entire movie.
I honestly felt bad for the kid.
