when to wax?

so...i got a full brazilian and half leg wax on march 8th.   this saturday, april 7th, i leave for a VERY casual, off-the-beaten-path vacation in texas. we'll be doing hiking and canoeing and outdoorsy stuff, so i normally wouldn't worry much about appearance... but it's gonna be hot.  like over 100 hot.  i'm definitely going to be donning shorts and/or a bathing suit.

do i wax this week, before vacation, or wait until after?  FWIW, i have some sparse regrowth.

TIA!

Re: when to wax?

  • If you have some regrowth and didn't have a reaction (redness or bumps), I'd go sometime later this week...maybe Wed or Thurs.
  • It really depends on how much hair had grown back like the pp person said. If it's not long enough they can't do a good wax. It doesn't need to be long but it needs to be  there to pull. HTH

  • I agree with people above. If you have regrowth, I would get it done before the trip
