Okay, so I will fully admit starting this OOTD thread is more because I'm feeling AWy than I think other people will participate. But I would love if others did participate.

I'm wearing a new dress today! I got it on sale from Banana Republic online. I was so happy when it arrived and fit me.

I'm very standard, simple today, but I'll take a picture in just a few minutes, the kids are almost ready for nap. In fact, Lauren is laying down on the floor at my feet. oh yeah, I almost forgot. I scheduled a hair appointment for Wednesday, cut and color. I was thinking of putting in some blond (blonde?) highlights and maybe bangs, what do you think?

I'm trying to maintain a certain level of Dressed Up at Work instead of wearing my comfy trousers and Target boat shoes everyday. So I have to like, make outfits, or something. Thank god for suits.

I had bangs (by default) when my hairs were all cut short. And I had mega bangs when I was a wee lass. My bangs started at the crown of my head, no lie.
I have no idea on style. When it's long, which is pretty much always, it's just varying lengths of long. I like to be able to pull it back, so I probably won't be going much shorter, I'm just picturing choppy layers with maybe a side swept bang? I want to look amazing and perfect, is that too much to ask?
here's my ootd.
I've been pretty much living in this sweater full time since buying it last week, it's like a snuggy.
sweater - Free People, long sleeve black tee - Gap, jeans - SFAM, shoes - new Cole Haan ballet flats. LOVE THESE. Hair - 2 day old headband curl, jewelry - hammered silver.
I like the leg up you got going on there, Hezz. I think you could pull off blondey and bangs as well. I am debating on bangs for my Saturday appt. Normally I shy away, but my hairs are so short I think it is the time to do it.
I am like all the dresses I see.

I think you could definitely pull off bangs. I love medium long layered hair with some sideswept bang action. Do it!
