  • I find it to be overpriced and pretentious.

I recommend the Eden Roc Renaissance, right next door.  You can easily enjoy the nightlife at the FB but it's a nicer hotel.

  • love it, can't say enough from years back.  My family has been going there since I was a little girl.  It's quite different now though, but it used to be a classic in Miami years ago.  I haven't been since it's been redone but my brother still loves it just a different fontainbleau he said, not what he was used to but still top notch.
  • It's been a while, but I liked the hotel. However, I prefer places closer to South Beach for the restaurant and shopping options.
  • We stayed there for a week last year. We were very fortunate to get an amaing deal on a suite in the Sorrento tower. The pools are awesome and I looooooove the "lawn" with all of the lounge chairs. We also rented a cabana. It truly was a fantastic vacation that we plan on doing again next year. Oh and our room had a tv in the bathroom....one of my hubby's favorite features lol. Let me know if you'd like to see pics. :)

  • Meh.  I stayed there for a work conference and it was merely ok.  pretentious.  The restaurant was expensive and not that great.  And my iPhone was stolen right off the bar.

This.  We LOVED our stay at the Eden Roc, gorgeous hotel (all re-done), and the pool area is fabulous.  The bar in the lobby is awesome, same with the beach bar & grill.

We walked by the Fontainbleau and it looked so overcrowded, not our style.

  • The Loews has a pool open 24/7, right on the beach, and like one block from Lincoln with tons of shopping and dining.  I think the Fontainbleu is overpriced and there are better places to stay.
  • Thanks for all of the great feedback.
