Is it bad

that my husband's out for the night and all I can think is, "Yesss! I can snack all night long!" He doesn't judge my snacking habits at all - I'm just ravenous today (did my longest run to date yesterday - 6.5 miles) and can't wait to snack on some air popped popcorn, ice pops, and fruit without having to share, ha.

I think it's also kinda sad that we haven't even been married for 2 years and I'm excited that a night alone means a night with my DVR and snacking.

Re: Is it bad

  • I feel the same way! When the members of my household leave, I go straight to the kitchen. I know they won't judge but I just feel a little self-conscious about what I eat when no one's watching.

  • I would probably snack just as much as I would if he were home (I love to snack . . . I'm not good at eating big meals.) I just like the freedom of snacking on strange combos without being given the side eye, ha.

  • Don't feel bad. I love it when DH goes away for work trips. It means I get to eat order Indian food (he doesn't like it) and can make my coffee in the morning on the lighter side (he likes it dark and strong). Oh, and time along with my TV shows. He tolerates my shows, but I think he could probably do without Pretty Little Liars from ABC Family or Nikita on the CW.
I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.
  • I am in the same boat tonight.  I'm gonna take it a step further and confess that I will put the baby to bed earlier than usual so I can snack uninterrupted.  Smile
