My Garmin is flaking out. Help?
I've already contacted customer support. They sure don't make *that* easy. 
Today when I tried uploading my run--as I've done many many times since October 2010--I got a message saying the Communicator Plugin was not installed. So I installed it. Install failed. I did it three more times, and each time the Test Page says it's not installed.
What gives? This is driving me nuts and DH won't stop watching the basketball game long enough to help.

Mine was doing that. I switched USB ports and it worked. Which is stupid, because the port wasn't dead and it was still reading my Garmin.
My long run partner said his hasn't been uploading either (including a 17 miler that I need to add to the nike challenge!). What the heck?

Every time Firefox crashes, it says "Congrats you're running the updated version, BUT it's not compatible with Mac. So click *here* to get the latest compatible version." Then I do, and the upgrading site says, "Sorry, that's not compatible." Then I beat my head on the wall and carry on with my non-compatible version.

and usually when i restart my computer, the communicator plugin thingy magically works again.
