DH's 30th Birthday-need ideas
I had a big trip planned for DH-we are going to Vegas. And it was going to be a huge surprise.
Unfortunately, DH is a surprise ruiner and looked at our bank account and saw the transaction. So he now knows that we are going somewhere, he just doesn't know where.
I'd like to have 30 things for his 30th birthday but I have no idea what this would entail...any ideas?

Could you get him something small in the 30 days leading up to his birthday and then give him the plane tickets on his birthday?
When I was in Australia for 6 months doing study abroad I have something somewhat similar for Rusty. Every day he had an envelop to open up. Most days it was something stupid like a joke or a letter from me. Once a week he had a fun small gift to open, and once every month he had a decent sized gift to open. It was so much fun. He still has everything that he opened. He loved it too.
You know, if I was more organized, I would have, but unfortunately his birthday is April 15th.
Could you maybe find 30 things he'd need for his trip?
I remember seeing a video of a little girl who got a trip to DIsney for her birthday and the mom gave her a backpack to open first and it had all this stuff on it for the plane ride and the trip and then she asked her what she thought she would need all that stuff for, and then told her they were going to Disney. You could do Vegas themed and stuff that he might want/need for on the airplane.

7.) Beer (Heineken to be specific, we are seeing his uncle and they always drink that)

You could get him a movie like Ocean's 11, 12 or 13, Vegas Vacation, Hangover, etc.
If you could find one of those tall plastic cubs with the really long straws that would be funny.
I'm still thinking...
It's hard to find machines in Vegas now that take quarters!!! Crazy, huh?
