Some of you may remember the post I wrote a couple of weeks ago about the new guy I'm dating coming over for dinner and how I was nervous. Well, we smooched that night, but nothing else happened, much to my confusion. I was about to write him off as not being that interested in me when I received some VERY flirtatious texts from him this evening. 

I'm not sure if this is the classic "I'm just interested in sex" process, but we've gotten together several times and he's been quite gentlemanly.

I'm excited and I could definitely use the physical attention. Woah.

    Wasn't that just last week? 

    I think if he's been gentlemanly up till now and then just busts out the sexy talk, that he's feeling you out to see if youre game for "fun". A guy who really likes you wouldn't go from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds.

    Watch out for this one.

    That's kind of weird...why are you so excited, do you not want him to be interested in more than sleeping with you? I would be wary of the sudden change in his aggressiveness.

    Well, he told me that something in his car broke, so he fixed it and then I said that a man working with his hands is sexy. To which he said something like "what would you like me to work on with these hands?" and I said that I wasn't sure and that I was shy. He just said something like his hands could take away the shyness. Furthermore, he said that he thought my skin would feel baby soft and that he has been wanting to take it further with me for a while.

    That's the basic gist...

    I don't see any cause for concern there. I wouldn't jump into bed with a stranger, but that conversation doesn't seem over the top to me.

    Oh ok, that's pretty PG. From your initial post I thought it was like he texted something graphic out of the blue. He's probably shy around you and sometimes it's easier to get flirty over text.

    I really thought we were gonna be dealing with diickpics!  And I'm sad we're not.  They're one of my favorite topics.

    So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
