What event are you training for/date? Chelanman 70.3, July 21
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sun. 90 minute bike ride, Mon. Swim, Tues. track, Wed. bike ride, Thurs. Tempo run, Fri. swim, sat. bike ride. I'm not sure of distances yet, I don't have my plan written up for the rest of the week after today.
Any injuries or problems? My neck is super sore. Swimming last night was the worst. It hurt to turn my head. I'm not sure what the deal is, it better go away soon!
Highlights from last week? Last week was a recovery week. It was sooo nice!
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I just bought a brand new pair of Zoot running capris. Super comfy!!
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? Yep! One neighbor is our landlord and their kids play with my SS. On the other side is another family who has kids that SS plays with. I love my neighbors!
What event are you training for/date? not training for anything other than to keep up with my running and fitness as much as I can. I am due June 9th and only have 9.5 weeks to go!!
What does your training schedule look like for the week?
M- rest
T- easy 3-4 mile run
W- 7 mile run
Th- AMT or elliptical, strength training
F-3-4 mile run, strength training
Sat- 10-12 mile run
Sun- 3 mile run, strength training
Any injuries or problems? no specific injury, just getting harder and harder to run the further along I get into this pregnancy.
Highlights from last week? 9 mile run turned into 11.5 mile run and then ran the next day too!
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I am really enjoying Jelly Belly jelly beans when out on a long run.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? - Mon. ST arms & abs, Tues. 4 mile run, Wed: ST legs and TKD class, Thurs: ST arms & 6 mile run, Fri: 9 mile run, Sat: off, but may do a bit of hiking, Sun: off
Any injuries or problems? - my shoulder hurts a bit, but that's it
Highlights from last week? - I had a really great run the one day

Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? - not really, we're friendly to the point where we wave and will stop and chat for a couple of minutes, but we don't hang out or anything.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Monday-90 minute easy mountain bike ride, Tuesday: 90 minute road ride w/ 3x5 minute time trial intervals, Wed.: 25 mile hilly road ride, Thursday: 60 minute recovery ride. Friday: Off, Saturday: hard metric century (62-ish miles)
Any injuries or problems? Still on antibiotics and dealing with just a bit of the lingering sinus infection.
Highlights from last week? None, trust me.
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? Yes. Our "left side" neighbor is really sweet. We enjoy having her as a neighbor; she has a really pretty yard. Our "right side" neighbor is the scary typical old single cat lady.

What event are you training for/date? I'm running for fun in the 10 mile Parkway Classic on April 22nd, other than that nothing on the calendar until the MCM in October
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Week 1 HH Spring Training Plan Mon - Strength, Tue - 3M, Wed- 3XHill, Thur - 3M + Strength, Fri- Rest, Sat - 30M Tempo, Sun - 6M
Any injuries or problems? Nope
Highlights from last week? I was majorly lazy last week. But I'm excited to try new training techniques other than just running.
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I just got an Iphone 4 and I'm looking into getting an armband to track my runs.
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? All the houses/apartments are very close together so I know a few of them enough to say "Hi". But not really by name. There is a couple that has a little boy who 6 months younger than DS, so we always see them around.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? I'm forcing an easy week upon myself because my body needs a break! Sun -OFF, M - 3.5mi easy run, T - 1 mi swim/stretching, W-off, Th through Sat - whatever feels good whether it's rest or run 18 miles
Any injuries or problems? no injuries, just feeling really tired

Yesterday-5 miles easy
Today-4 miles (I think) still easy but not quite as easy as yesterday
Tomorrow-speedwork, probably around 7 miles total
Thursday-rest or crosstrain
Friday-3 mile recovery run? 4 miles? I forget
Saturday-12 mile long run...last one before the race. Eep!

Any injuries or problems? Since recovering from tweaking my knee during a snowy run, no. ::knocks on wood::
Highlights from last week? I survived 10 Yasso 800's without puking!
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I am kind of in love with my new Brooks Pure Cadence shoes, to the extent that I am probably going to wear them for my race.
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? The ones on either side of us? Well enough to wave hi and make small talk, sure. There are a couple of families elsewhere on our cul de sac that we know well enough to invite over for cookouts and stuff though.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? M-3mi and lifting, Tu-3mi, W-8x400s, Th-3mi and lifting, Fri-60min XT, Sa-4mi, Su-Rest
Any injuries or problems? I started running outside again. There are hills out there, y'all. HILLLLLZ. Oof.
Highlights from last week? I ran my fastest adult mile outside, on hilllz (adult = post-field hockey days)
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I love sunflower seed butter! What a find! My new mental strategy is "Eff the Garmin". I've been running with MMR so I'm not constantly looking at/obsessing over my pace, and just getting back to enjoying running.
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? Why yes I do! Our neighbors to our left just had a baby, our neighbors two doors to the left are expecting, and they're just all freaking adorable. Our neighbors two doors to our right are awesome. We hang out with them, invite each other to our house parties, etc.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? busy week, just trying to squeeze in what I can when I can.

Any injuries or problems? Knock on wood no...just crappy weather making it hard to run for nearly 2 hours outside
Highlights from last week? ran 32 miles last week, 7 miles further than my previous "record"

What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon-7-8 miles at MP, T-XT, W-Speed work (7-8miles), TH-XT, F-Rest, S-Long run-20 miles (I made add some hot yoga in the schedule too)
Any injuries or problems? The only thing I have is a blister under my toe nail, I'm pretty sure it was the socks I wore.
Highlights from last week? ran a total of 131 miles last month!
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? I found out I do not like the Honey Stingers gel-gross!
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? Yes, we talk to many of our neighbors often. We have one of them moving away soon though
What does your training schedule look like for the week? First week of a 2-week marathon taper. Cross-train, run 5, 6, and 4 miles, rest, 4-5 mile pace run (or not at pace), 10ish mile long run.
Any injuries or problems? Ankle's kinda misbehaving, but I'm on it.
Highlights from last week? Kickass long run in the mist and rain. The beast still has it.
Any fitness discoveries recently? New clothing, gear, food, mental strategies, workouts, etc? Nuun tablets. Easier than carrying lots of extra liquid and taster than plain water.
Bonus question: Do you know your neighbors? Not yet. I just moved into an apartment complex. Briefly met the across-the-hall neighbor. Seems kinda unfriendly, though.
