VA Beach!
Ive been driving myself crazy trying to plan our vacation to Virginia Beach and all of a sudden it hit me! Ask VA.
Can you give me any recommendations for a hotel, places to eat and any must see sights?
Were driving and staying Thurs-Monday in mid June. One of those days were going to Busch Gardens
If anyone else has suggestions, they are more than welcome!!

Oh fun! VAB should be nice in June, not too over-run w/ tourists yet, but plenty sunny!
I always liked the VAB Hotel and Conference Center-- it's right on the Bay (as opposed to the oceanfront), which is pretty calm and relaxed. It's literally next-door to my old house, so where our friends and family stayed for the wedding. Just a nice neighborhood feel. A good breakfast place close by is Citrus (Great Neck) and a cute bar/casual dinner place is Chick's (where we did our rehearsal). Great deck, just a chill place. For 'fancier' dinning One Fish Two Fish is close and has a great view.
If you'd rather be closer to "the scene", I'd recommend the Hilton at 31st street-- it's new, nice and has a good restaurant. The joint definitely rocks especially Friday and the weekend. A short(ish) walk down the boardwalk (about 12th st) is Mahi-Mah's. Good food, good drinks, always packed.
Let me know if you've got any specific questions about any areas to stay or whatever.
we went there for my 30th (april). we went dolphin watching and went to the aquarium. it was fun. we stayed here. it was nice but definitely not in the thick of it.
