August 2010 Weddings
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • I didn't lose or gain last week, which is fine by me. It was kind of a rest week anyways since I was in between training cycles (10k training started this morning!). I only ran 10 miles last week since my legs were unhappy with me, and did a bunch of cross training. Since I had to work this weekend, I only ran a mile but I made it count, and it was the fastest mile I've run since I played field hockey many moons ago.

  • I lost 0.0 pounds last week. But I didn't gain either, which I guess is better than nothing.

  • I stayed the same as well...must be something in the air!

    I am going to try a few different things this week to hopefully kick start the metabolism again...I am switching meals and am going to incorporate a little bit of red meat at least one day.

    I want to make sure that I am getting my activity in as well...already had a 60 walk with a good friend, so that's a good way to start!

  • I lost 2lbs this week, after a week of not losing anything.

    I really wasn't feeling working out last week and only got 4 workouts in. I think my body needed the rest. I have 2 and a 1/2 weeks until my race. I think I'll be physically ready but still need to convince my head I can do it. And it turns out DH has the day off and will be able to go with me. Not sure if he'll run with me or do his own thing, either way I'm happy he can come.

    This week I really need to work on getting my water intake up and pushing myself during workouts.

    On a side not an a** hole ( he was a training for the trainers) called me fat at the gym yesterday! I was working my ass of lifting weights and he was talking to the guy he was training saying that I needed to do this and this different because I was a large person. A** hole I wish I would have spoken up for myself instead of getting my feelings hurt.... oh well.
