Are those Krispy Kreme? I don't get the love. I swear, a few years ago I was on a mission in FL to find some Krispy Kreme donuts since they're hard to find up here. And then I was quite disappointed.
Dunkin Donuts is much better. We have Tim Horton's up here but the coffee is BLEH, so I rarely pop in for a donut cause there isn't a decent drink to with it. They started doing lattes after McDonalds did, and those suck too.
Speaking of which, the espresso-based drinks at McDonalds up here are really good. So is the coffee. Surprising.
Those are KK, and they are the best.
The only edible donut from DD is the Boston Cream.
Tim Hortons' Canadian maple donut FTW.
While we do have Tim Hortons in NYC now, I am excited that we're traveling up to Quebec next week so I can get true authentic Canadian maple donuts.

I haven't had a donut in a while. Maybe several weeks. this is quite the cause for sadness
Krispy Kreme donuts are good really only if they're hot and fresh. And then they're amazing.
The best donuts though, are the traditional ones from your local bakery. None of this DD or KK crap. Those will do in a pinch, of course, but they don't top the doughnuts from a place such as the local German bakery where we went growing up (now closed, sadness!) or the kosher bakery near my work from where sometimes, for work events, people bring doughnuts, and then I eat like 5. Even though they are huge.
I'm sharing, so please have some! LOL
This week at the office has been insane for me. Dayum insane. I wanted donuts and dammit, I shall have them.
KK vs DD - Dunkin is just alright. I'm not really a cake donut person, and DD is more cake than gooey, melt in your mouth airy KK donut. I didn't get either a KK or DD dount today, I went to a local donut shop because they are just better than DD. Plus, it was closer to the office.
Also, this is to snub my nose at the Epic Fat Thread and the bad eating habits debate, because right now, to get through this day, I need alcohol or donuts. Donuts won't get me fired, so donuts it is.
