I liked it, although I found it hard at times because I've been doing zumba which is like GO GO GO with hands and feet at all times, so I was kind of hopping around too much when I was punching.
The instructor was kind of irritating, she talked the ENTIRE time and sometimes it was like, "I''m a big bad man coming for you- jab, cross, jab HUNH!" and sometimes it was like, "I have a cold and my nose is stuffy and I can't believe Spring was here and then when it officially came, it left blah blah blah."
And then she gave us grades. I got a B+. She said I had good form.

Re: I went to Kickboxing.
This is my favorite class too.
And I'm just catching up from yesterday and spit my coffee out when you wrote what you thought spinning was! You're so funny :-)
:Blog:
I think its just the instructor. This is the 4th class/instructor I've taken there and no one else does it.
Did anyone fail? Were you graded on a curve?

No. Individual. She gave this one girl an F on her Roundhouse which I kinda felt bad for her because I could tell she had been going to class a long time (she knew the moves before the instructor even started and just looked seasoned) and she was like, "But this is how I've been doing it forever." And the instructor was like, "You've been doing it wrong."
wow! I feel like this is really detrimental to keeping attendance up - it's the instructors job to correct form WHILE you're practicing. If I got a "grade" like that at the end, I'd be pissed. And certainly wouldn't want to go back.
I probably would feel that way if I had gotten anything less than a B, but since I got a B+ my first time, I'll go back haha.
I was the only new person there so IDK if that means she does it because everyone is used to it, or if I was the only new person because everyone else knows to stay away.
