Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. The BF and I are a little nuts....
We both did the 70.3 on Sunday and on Friday we drive to New Orleans for a 10K on Saturday morning.
Then April 29th we have an Olympic Distance triathlon... There is no rest for the wicked! HA HA.
If anyone is going to be in the NOLA area this weekend, I highly recommend registering for the 10K! It is supposed to be so much fun and late registration is only $35!

Keep it going while you are in great shape! You worked hard to get through the training... enjoy a "shorter" distance in the 10K! Good luck!!!!
I'll join you on the crazy train. I'm doing 3 half marathons in 4 weeks. It's a local 39.3 (total mileage) series.... first one is on the 14th! I'm ready (I think)... just more worried about the recovery time in between!

I am pretty excited about the NOLA trip. Since he lived there for 4 years, he knows more about the area than me. He takes me to places a lot of the locals go and they are fab!

Haha I hope so! I have actually tried doing C25K before and previously I"ve gotten bored with it, but back then I was doing it on the treadmill. Now I'm doing it outside, so hopefully that helps. I just got fitted for running shoes on Monday and I LOVE THEM haha
I will!! I have to agree... there is something nice about dating someone who likes to do these crazy things. My BF is a cyclist... rides 5000 + miles a year. I'm not that crazy... but it's nice to have someone that understands the training and getting up early on weekends.... and the fact that you are exhausted in the evenings!

Dakota: I think you will MUCH prefer doing it outside. Plus, I never recommend treadmills for anyone. They can screw up one's gait. Good Luck with the C25K and have fun with it!! :-)

I found a saying the other day:
"If your relationship is working... You could be training harder"
But you are right! I don't get mad about him getting up early for a ride... and he deals with me falling asleep at 10 on a weekend night! It all works!
