My Chart My Nest Bio
It's sad but not a surprise to me. I haven't been what anyone would describe as even chubby since I was about 12 and I still have extensive food/body image issues stemming from being bigger at a very young age. I've found that running (as a sport vs. exercise) has helped a lot - it forces me to at least on a rational level to look at food as fuel - but the emotional ickiness comes back and rears its ugly head at the hint of new stress or anxiety. It's like some weird default in my brain. And I'm 33 - no wonder young girls can't get past it if we can't as grown women.
