I judge...

Moms who post pics of their kid's birthday party, and there are more pics of the decorations/food than the kids. I understand if it's a blog (maybe), but this is fb. There are 40 something pics and only like 4 have kids.

  • I judge people who use (an uncomplicated) pregnancy as an excuse not to pull their weight at work in a profession where teamwork is key.

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
  • I judge parents who walk down a busy street with their kids walking several feet BEHIND them. How the heck can you watch your child if you cannot see them ?!?!?

  • I judge my coworkers that take at minimum five smoke breaks a day for at least 10 mins each that then have the nerve to make comments about what time I arrive in the morning.  I get here at 7:15 and leave at 5:30 for my 10 hour shift.  I do not take breaks throughout the day and I eat lunch at my desk while working 3 out of 4 ofthe days.  How is this not okay to them but taking a million breaks to slowly kill yourself is fine?
  • Kind of along the same lines as Christina: I am currently judging my office mate because she constantly takes 15 minute breaks (for no reason - she's not a smoker), when she is at her desk she's constantly on the phone with her daughter, or her husband, or one of her sisters. Or, if she's not on the phone, she's got her nook on her lap and she's reading whilst pretending to work. I doubt she does 1 hour of actual work in an 8 hour day.

And, on top of that, she is constantly taking random days off for no reason other than she wants to stay home. Since the beginning of the year she's taken 6 of her 11 vacation days. She'd better not come crying to me when the holidays roll around and she doesn't have any more PTO.

I'd judge anyone who did this, but I judge her more because it puts a direct burden on me because I have to cover her job duties whenever she's gone.

And she bitches about you taking the day off to take care of your sick daughter but she takes days off willy nilly to sit on her ass all day.

Along with C- I judge this lady who works in my building, clocks in at 7 and takes a cigarette break at 7:10 EVERY MORNING.

    Right. That too.

And I agree on the cigarette break thing as well. We have several smokers in our building and they all congregate at 8:10 and go out to smoke together, so there's no one in the newsroom or sales office from like 8:10 to 8:30 because they're all out puffing away.
