8) What are you doing this Wednesday? Nothing...it's my only day off this week. I worked 11 hours yesterday and didn't get home until 1....so I slept until 11. And now I'm doing NOTHING and I love it.

10) Random thought? I really hate the bees outside my apartment. Except for the fact they entertain my kitten and I don't have to yell at her as much to stay off the furniture, or to stop eating my rug.

Took DD to have a blood draw, had a playdate, took a walk, cleaned the house (my mom and brother are coming to babysit for the next 2 days then the rest of my family will be here for easter), hung out with DD and DH some more, then had the bedtime from hell, so I laid in the recliner with DD sleeping on my chest until DH got home to put her in her crib.
9) Share something nerdy we don't know! I really enjoy taking college classes to learn new things - I really want to take photography classes at the local community college to get better at it.

5) Are you planning any fun vacations soon? Where to? Hopefully. Our annual family vacation to the lake is up in the air b.c. a tornado hit the resort and it isn't re-opening until June 30th. They are not sure if they will be open in July. They gave us a code to stay somewhere else, since that place is booked with its regulars and then all the people from this resort. DH and I are trying to think of somewhere to go. Might also go on a girl's trip.

You spend most of the day sitting or standing up. About 70% of your total blood volume is pooled in your legs. Your heart is used to dealing with a certain blood volume at a time. When you lay down, that 70% is spread out a little more, and the blood volume in your chest increases. Increase the volume, your heart stretches. Your heart thinks you are retaining fluid. The stretch releases a small protein called "atrial naturetic peptide". ANP travels to the kidneys & tells the kidneys to start getting rid of the excess fluid. So they do. Your bladder volume then increases. And then you have to run to the bathroom when you wake up. The body is so cool.

No
I'm bummed about it too. The last two summers we had awesome vacations (Caribbean cruise for the honeymoon, and a free trip to DC last summer with the in-laws). We're tentatively planning for an all-inclusive trip next year though!

Spring break has officially started!!!! SOOOO happy for this. And after spring break, 5 more weeks of full time work, followed by a few fun days back in the 8th grade followed by SUMMER VACATION!!
