you should have stuck with it. It's gotten so much better since the first like 5 shows. SO much funnier. So much.
That may have been it -- or quirky female leads just turn me off, ie 30 Rock (sorry Mel!)

the first few shows all kind of had the same story line - the roomates stand up for Jess at the end, blah blah. I mean, it was funny, but not nearly as funny as it is now.
Doesn't hurt that I PPH Zooey D.

This show is quite possibly the best show ever. Pretty much any line from the Mr. Fancypants episode is hilarious.
"I don't know why I just walked in and put this sweater on... It just smelled like Shakespeare, if Shakespeare were a damn cowboy... And a hawks nest, and boat fuel and cigars..." I laugh out loud all the time watching and rewatching this show.
Winston singing Wicked was amazing.
