Another Race Review Request. Surf City-Huntington Beach, CA?
Has anyone run this marathon? I know it's not until February, but for whatever reason my running group has put the destination races organization in my lap and I'd like to pick the race relatively soon since there will be a group of us traveling cross country.
We've all agreed that we'd like to train for a winter marathon (makes training in FL so much more enjoyable,) and several people mentioned a S.CA destination. We'll have 2 first time marathoners, a few who should break the 4 hr barrier and one or two who will be going for a BQ. So basically our requirements are relatively flat, fast course, with decent crowd support.
Does anyone have any experience with this race, good or bad?
