NROLFW question

I did Stages 1-3 of NROLFW about 1.5 years ago and really liked it, but moved and couldn't afford the local gym at the time.

I've been going to one of those barre conditioning classes every day at lunch, but now with nicer weather, I can walk to a gym with a weight set after work. They also do a barre class on mondays and wednesdays at night.

I was thinking of doing 2 days of lifting, 2 days of barre, and yoga on fridays.. but I'm thinking that may be way too much.. I just need to do something every day.

Thoughts?

Re: NROLFW question

  • I think that's fine. I do two days of lifting, three days of running and a yoga day. It help me feel good to do something most days and to know I always have an easy day (yoga) and a rest day. Plus, if I get busy I can skip or double up and it works. Also, because I am already doing cardio on my running days I plan to skip that part of the nrol later stages.

  • Working out five days a week is not too much, especially with those workouts.  Smile

  • That sounds about right. I'm doing running/5K prep 3 days a week, and Physique 57 videos 2-3 days a week. If I do only 2 P57 videos, I do a yoga instead. 5-6 days a week is fine, especially if you're switching up what you do each day.

  • Awesome. Next week is a wash when it comes to working out or even breathing, so I'll start the Monday after. I'll finish up my barre class membership this week.

I'm excited to lift heavy again!
