How did the March shopping ban go for you?

Sorry if this was posted already. I just wanted to see the outcome of people who did the F&B shopping ban for the month of March.

At first, it was tough because I wanted mint or kelly green jeans. And I've been getting monthly Nordstrom catalogues mailed to me and I really enjoy flipping through them. They read like a fashion editorial with styling suggestions.

Then it was sale galore online. But, I did it! No F&B purchases for March!

I did do a little shopping for MH at Norsdstrom at the end of March. He lost a lot of weight and wanted smaller sizes, so I returned a ton of his unopened dress shirts, undershirts and boxers that he got as gifts. I want to support his weight loss, so I got a bunch of stuff and got him a couple of pairs of Sperry topsiders or boat shoes or whatever you call them. But I did not count this for my shopping ban.

How did everyone do? If you have a Lent shopping ban, you are in the home stretch!

I'm a Lent shopping ban....and I'm going nuts. I have a huge list of "after Lent" purchases.

My H loves to joke with me whenever we pass the malls here, he acts like he's going to turn in and go "NOPE!". Jerk

I didn't go on a shopping ban because I just discovered this board about a month ago. And since then I've bought more stuff than I have in like a year..........

So now I'm feeling guilty and thinking I need to ban myself my shopping AND this board

I did horribly. There were just so many great new things coming out in March... But to be fair I only bought stuff if it was on n amazing deal and I didn't shopat all during February. I think two consecutive months (esp when the weathers changing) is just too much for me!

Um, I didn't do so great. I bought a pair of Sperry top-siders, pair of sandals, two purses, and a T3 dryer. However, one purse and the T3 were a great deal at TJ Maxx, and the other three items were on sale at Macy's (the shoes 25% off and the purse was 40% off). Oh, and I bought a wallet at Macys as well, but I actually sort of needed this as I couldn't even get my old wallet closed because it was too small.

Oh, crap, and I forgot about the trip to Kohls where I got three pairs of capris, a few t-shirts, three cute spring scarves, and a hat. We were going on vacation, though, and that is always such a good excuse to buy at least a few things

I didn't make it. I broke down when Nordstrom had triple rewards points, and then piperlime had 20%. That was a bad week for me.

i gave it up for lent and i haven't bought a thing. that is huge for me because i shop a few times a week.
