If you use Sigma brushes, please come in...
I've heard a lot about this brand of brushes- are they better than the Sephora collection or MAC brushes?
What are your favorite brushes?
Re: If you use Sigma brushes, please come in...
I started out with this kit (my mom got it for me for Christmas in 2010):

I had some Smashbox and Sephora brushes prior and pretty much threw all of them out (except for my 2 fav Smashbox liner brushes). The Sigmas are top notch and so much nicer/softer/easier to clean.
Since I got the main kit I sold a few brushes that I dont use on Ebay (the large powder and the duo fibre brush) and added a few others (the synthetic P82 and F82 which are AMAZING).
I have also purchased some Real Techniques brushes from Ulta which I really like as well (the powder brush w/the gold handle and the blush brush with the pink handle). They are really soft.

Thanks for responding- what do you use P82 for? I read the description on the Sigma site and it says for "under eyes and around nose"?
I use this travel set because I'm a sucker for cute packaging and it also was a great price. It's actually on sale now for $49. For me, these are all the brushes that I need. I think they are also shorter than the regular brushes, and I prefer the shorter length. I've never used a MAC brush, but I definitely like them better than Sephora brushes I've used in the past.
I use the P82 to buff in concealer, and also to set the concealer with setting powder (very good for angles, like around the nose, under eye, etc.)
I bought this kit.
And I think I use just about every brush on a pretty regular basis.
HOWEVER.
This Sephora brush is a NECESSITY, truth. NO BRUSH COMES CLOSE TO THIS, EVER.
Also, I think Sigma brushes are good quality brushes for half the price of MAC, but I still prefer my MAC eye brushes, particularly the blending ones (217 and 286).
I'd rather have an entire set of MAC, but I don't have a money tree.
Thanks- will def look into the Sephora brush you recommended
