Okay so NOW I'm almost gold AND Ask Me Anything
Last week ESD pointed out that 5885 was not 15 posts from gold. Oops! So anyway, now I'm for real close to gold. So get excited TIP, I expect ticker tape and jello shots.
ETA: Ask me anything so I can kick silver's assss to the curb!

ESD, you should post a bit more hmmmm????
Sure Broc, want to ask me something? Or should I start a new post?
At least one of you two knows how to count.
What is this about house hunting?
What have you created in the kitchen that was the most frustrating and/or time-intensive?
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
what do you do for a living that you can work from home? i'm jealousE!
how long have you been doing yoga?
favorite food of all time?
favorite dish to make?
Sooo we are considering buying a house instead of renewing our lease. Scary! All we've done so far is get pre-approved and talk to our mortgage broker friend. He is putting us in touch with a realtor. And of course we've been house shopping like fools.
Hmm the most time-intensive, maybe ravioli or the stained glass pappardelle I made once. Frustrating was Bouef Bourgignon - I felt the need to make it after Julie & Julia came out and honestly, I didn't think it was worth the massive prep time (hi, peeling 40 pearl onions by hand without smushing them).
If I could live anywhere...it would be right here. Sappy, but that's why H and I just threw caution to the wind and moved - so we could be where we wanted to be. It was the best thing we ever did, we're ridiculously happy here. If I had unlimited funds it would be a larger property and on the ocean, instead of a few acres near the ocean, but hey, I'm still stoked about it.

Favorite food...PASTA! or cheese! Probably pasta.
Fave dish to make...that's a tough one, it changes often. Fave easy dish is probably pasta carbonara (with prosciutto and peas and eggs and freshly grated parm, yumma). I also love to make this garlic pork loin, where I cut slits all over the pork and push half-cloves of garlic down inside, then I roast potatoes, carrots, and onions. And at least one head of garlic. And then serve with crusty delicious bread.
Crap now I'm hungry!
Usually a 6.
But for some reason, a 4-1/2 for sneakers, which works out well bc kid sneakers are way cheaper and they come in way better colors.
I sent you an IM.
That's a big step though. YAY!
Aw, thanks ESD! It's exciting but scary...I just don't know how thrilled I am to buy another house, lol.
Calle, I ate peanut butter toast with honey and pretended it was ravioli. It failed miserably.
You did it! Congrats.
Good luck with the houseness. I love house shopping, but I am only window shopping and will be doing so possible until the end of time.
