What are everyone's plans for Easter weekend?
I'm leaving work in 20 minutes and heading over to L's. From there, L, his DD, and I are driving to Chicago for a fun getaway. Planning to do lots of shopping and sight-seeing (hit the American Girl store, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Natural History, Magnificent mile, etc). I'm so excited!
We leave to come back Sunday morning, and my parents are coming over L's house for Easter dinner
Re: Easter weekend plans?
I'm off tomorrow for the O's Opening Day. I love Opening Day, even though the Orioles suck, lol.
Saturday afternoon I'm meeting friends at the park for a walk. Might try to meet up with the guy I posted about that night.
Sunday we're going to one of my favorite restaurants for Easter dinner, and then we'll go back to my parents' for dessert.
Flea markets tomorrow with the BF!
Heading home to see the folks Saturday into Sunday morning. Coming back a little before noon on Sunday, and having Easter dinner with BF's family. I'll be meeting his grandmother, and aunts and uncles and little cousins, and I really hope it goes well! Ack!
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
I'm going to the O's/Yankees game on Tuesday. Can you recommend a place to eat near the stadium? Nothing fancy. thanks!
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
It's Passover for me so we're having a big family dinner with my parents, brother, SIL and nephew and everyone is staying at my parent's house. Should be a good time.
Since SIL is Catholic, we're doing Easter brunch at our golf club with everyone on Sunday
Mother's is a pretty popular place and they have good food. Right down the street from the stadium. No Way Jose has decent Mexican. Really good nachos. Honestly, I'm usually just drinking when I'm down there, lol. I'll probably grab lunch somewhere tomorrow, I'll try to remember to post if it's good.
thanks!
I have a little guy who is 19 months old. He is finally old enough to do very simple egg hunting so I am excited to watch him do this.
Friday night we have a service at church and games for the little ones. Saturday is egg Olympic day(Easter egg hunts, game, party and plenty of food at a park), Sunday we are going to Easter service and have Easter brunch, hang out with my friend for a little bit and I am heading over to dinner with my XH parents house. XH won't be there since he rather flies airplanes. I have no family where I am at but MIL and FIL are super good and very supportive to DS and I, I like to keep them in our lives.
*points down* I'm off to the BAHAMAS!!!!!

I will be lazing on the
with a
.
I am totally kid free all weekend and am planning to enjoy the quiet (and the clean house)! I'm planning to watch some movies Friday night. Saturday night I'm helping with the babies at church, then possibly dinner with the lawyer I've been chatting with from Match. Then Sunday, more me time, then get my kiddos and give them their Easter baskets.
Have I mentioned how excited I am to enjoy the quiet????

Fish fry tonight with my mom, stepfather, and my girls.
Tomorrow will be pictures with the Easter bunny. DD2 promises she will not cry this year but I am doubting it.
We are splitting Easter with the girls. We used to have everyone over to our house, but even though we're still living together we thought it'd be weird to do, so this year is different. H's family always has a big Polish breakfast so he is taking the girls there in the morning til 1 and then I'm taking them to my mom and stepfather's for Easter dinner.
Tonight - After I drop DD off with her dad, I have a first date with someone I met a couple of months ago. I'm SUPER excited, because this is only like the second "first" date I've ever been on. This also makes me super nervous.
Tomorrow - I have to work.
After that, I might go to my friends' get-together.
Sunday - Since DD is with her dad, my family is going to the casino! Wish me luck - hope we win big!!
