to pack up your winter clothing?
I am trying to go through my closet and change it out. I dont have enough room for bins and those stupid bags do not keep air.
Re: what do you use
I love the plastic under the bed storage totes. I use them for bed linens because our bathroom lacks storage, for shoe storage for shoes we don't wear very often, etc.
I agree about the space bags. I hate them. What a waste of money. The first time I used them I made 2 big rookie mistakes - one was using them at all because they popped open, and the second was using them and stuffing a ton of filled up, deflated spacebags into a huge rubbermaid tote. Just because the items take up less space doesn't mean they weigh any less. That tote must have weighed over 100 pounds. I could barely move it.
I dont have under a bed
I am in the process of rotating the closets now. DH & I have the current season of clothes in the master bedroom and the off season of clothes in the office closet. The office was formerly a bedroom and has a traditional bedroom closet. Because we both travel so much, we have a lot of multiseason clothing that never leaves the master bedroom closet.
That's probably the most unique idea I've ever heard of. It's pretty genious.
